Design concepts
The illustration idea was that communication through social media during war has blurred the lines between digital and real life. This experience highlights the importance of considering this when building a better future.
Regarding the cover, I had three concept ideas to consider:
1. The phone illuminates the world of the future
2. The phone as a window into the futuristic world
3. People communicating with each other through different devices.

The author of the book liked the 2nd concept, so I made 2 sketch options for this idea.

The client requested a large and colorful cover art. I proceeded to create a vector illustration based on her choice.
The final result
The book was published on February 24, 2023, on the anniversary of the beginning of the War in Ukraine.
